Chanta Cooper

Executive Director.

With over a decade of experience in nursing and leadership, Chanta Cooper brings a heart for service and a passion for people to her role as Executive Director at Woodland Heights. Since beginning her nursing career in 2012, Chanta has served in a variety of clinical and administrative positions, always guided by a commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.

Chanta joined Woodland Heights in 2018 as the Assistant Executive Director and quickly became a trusted and integral part of the community. Her dedication to residents, families, and team members—paired with her natural leadership and genuine warmth—led to her promotion to Executive Director. In this role, she continues to foster a culture of respect, joy, and excellence in senior living.

Known for her hands-on leadership style and her deep passion for memory care, Chanta strives every day to ensure that Woodland Heights feels like home for everyone who lives and works there.

Outside of work, Chanta is a proud wife and devoted mother to two energetic boys, Reece and Chase, who keep her grounded and inspired.

Marlee Barrett

Independent Living Director.

Marlee Barrett leads our Independent Living program at Woodland Heights Senior Living with energy, compassion, and a deep commitment to resident well-being. She holds a degree in Healthcare Administration with a focus in Long-Term Care from Western Kentucky University and has worked in senior living since graduation.

Marlee’s love for seniors began early, inspired by the time she spent with her great-grandparents in small-town Kentucky — moments that shaped her passion for helping older adults live purposeful, connected lives.

When she’s not at Woodland Heights, you’ll likely find Marlee testing out a new recipe in the kitchen or enjoying time with her dog, Quill.

Madeline Tegt

Sales Counselor.

Madeline Tegt serves as the Sales Counselor at Woodland Heights, bringing a genuine passion for people and a deep connection to the community. Before stepping into her sales role, Madeline spent a year as Woodland Heights’ Independent Living Activity Director, where she became a familiar and trusted face among residents and families.

Known for her warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm, Madeline has a natural ability to build meaningful relationships and make others feel at home. Her firsthand experience within the Woodland Heights community gives her a unique perspective as she helps prospective residents and their families navigate the senior living journey.

Madeline is passionate about welcoming new families to Woodland Heights and helping them discover the exceptional care, vibrant lifestyle, and strong sense of community that make it such a special place to call home.

Angela Hansard

Sales and Marketing Director.

Angela Hansard is the Sales and Marketing Director at Woodland Heights Senior Living, bringing more than a decade of experience connecting seniors and their families with the care and support they deserve. Through her strong relationships with local civic organizations, senior advocacy groups, and community partners, Angela creates meaningful connections that strengthen both families and the organizations that serve them.

With deep empathy and a clear understanding of the needs of older adults, Angela is dedicated to helping families navigate their journeys with confidence as they discover the compassionate community of Woodland Heights Senior Living.

Outside of the community, Angela enjoys painting and spending time outdoors camping with her husband, Jim, and their dogs, Trooper and Ranger.
